Description: Guess what?!?! I’M PREGNANT!! Michael and I are expecting a baby!!!! 👶 I have been waiting and waiting until I cleared the first trimester to tell you all...and I just cannot wait any longer! Here is my official PREGNANCY ANNOUNCEMENT VLOG!! I filmed this during my first trimester but I'm now at the start of my second trimester and am so incredibly excited to share all of these details with you! If you've been following me since my Refinery29 days, how exciting is this? You've watched my whole journey from r29 to now, and now you get to witness us becoming PARENTS! I know that the first trimester can sometimes be the loneliest for people with all the sudden changes (plus, nobody knows that you’re pregnant yet) - so I actually ditched that rule and told all my friends and family in the first trimester. I needed all the support I could get with all the changes that my body has been going through recently. I want it to be known that "morning sickness" as a term is a LIE! I have been throwing up ALL DAY (actually, mostly at nighttime), and the nausea has been almost unbearable. I have had a few moments where I just sob to Michael because of how miserable I feel. I have been so excited to be pregnant (and I'm so incredibly grateful!), but so far it has been very hard for me physically. Even my skin is completely broken out (hurry up, pregnancy glow!). Other pregnancy symptoms...A few other changes I've experienced are a massive increase in hunger (I keep a Tupperware of gluten-free pretzels by my bedside at all times). I have also found that if I consistently keep eating food, it really helps with the nausea, so I pretty much snack all day in addition to my 3 meals. I have had a few ultrasounds already which have been SO cool! The first, at 6 weeks pregnant just looked like a little speck. The second, at 8 weeks pregnant, was starting to look like a little human-shaped lima bean. And my third at 12 weeks was CRAZY - the baby has arms, legs, hands, and fingers already, plus 2 brain hemispheres, bones, a spinal cord, etc. The baby looks like a TINY HUMAN already. We have even heard the heartbeat! As of right now, we know the sex, but I'm not going to share that until I get some GUESSES! What do you think? We have been preparing for conception for a while, so I've recorded a few videos along the way to show you when we finally did get pregnant - I can’t wait to piece all of those together in a video later on! I have videos of our live pregnancy test, our reaction, telling all of our friends and family members that we're expecting a baby, and more! I may not be uploading videos every week anymore to keep myself de-stressed, but I definitely want to show you the process from start to finish and share as much as I can!
